Hangzhou

hangzhou was a paradise after shanghai. we felt we needed a break from the glitz and glass of the bund and took a two hour train to hangzhou, a small (like 3million) town south of shanghai. it was really nice. good weather, hot and not too humid. we sat by this gorgeous man made lake and listened to music, drank this crazy chinese alcohol and played hackeysac. great time. the hostel there was fantastic, cheap and good food. the people were friendly and everything was just nice. i am going to go back for a little bit i think. will let you all know.
cheers.
